CRACK/COCAINE
Crack is often smoked through a pipe, or bong. It produces an accelerated, very intensive altered state which lasts for as little as 2 min, followed by an extremely pleasurable relaxed state, usually lasting for about 20 min, before a long state of deep depression. Because the effect is so strong, most people get hooked on the reaction, some even overdosing.
Cocaine users usually feel the effects of the drug after 4 -5 seconds, and the effects lasts for about 30 min.
Cocaine users often suffer from a fractional or total break from reality, called cocaine psychosis. Many Cocaine abusers experience graphic, aural, and sensory hallucinations. They often experience an experience termed "coke bugs" a sense that creepy crawlies are swarming under the skin.
Withdrawal symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, insomnia, shaking fits and muscle weakness. There may also be an increased risk of strokes, heart attackts, seizures, diarriah.
Seizures may be fatal or cause brain damage. Other effects are respiratory problems, chronic bronchitis, crack lung syndrome, respiratory failure and perforated nasal septum from snorting cocaine.
HEROIN:
Danger of overdose, risk of pneumonia, malnutrition, hepatitis, and among others aids, clogging of vessels that lead to the lungs, liver, kidneys, pancreas, or brain. This then cause infection or even death.
LSD/ ACID
Often LSD users may experience relentless, terrifying and frightening thoughts, like feelings of fear or loss of control, psycosis and a terrifying fear of death, and despair sets in while on this drug. Bad trips and flashbacks are only part of the risk of LSD use.
PCP:
People who abuse PCP for long periods, report memory loss, difficulties with speech and thinking, depression and weight loss, and mood disorders.
